According to the FIAT-IFTA Constitution, a national or international association representing the funeral and/or thanatopractice service may apply to become a National Member of the Federation. Each country may have only one National Member. In the event that a country does not have a national association as a National Member of the Federation, any funeral service company may apply to represent its country as a National Member.

National Members may speak and vote at the annual I.C.D. meeting and at the General Assembly and may be granted the right to make presentations. They are entitled to have a more extensive association/company profile on our website www.thanos.org. They also may use the words ‘FIAT-IFTA ELITE NATIONAL MEMBER’ in association with 
the FIAT-IFTA logo (and www) in their business publications.
