FIAT-IFTA AT MIAMIFUNER 2019

The second edition of Miami Funer, the Latin American Funeral Industry Conference & Expo, took place from March 13^th to March 15^th in Miami. Led by FIAT-IFTA 2^nd Vice President Bill Wappner the FIAT-IFTA delegation has been successful in contacting many Latin American Members.

Surprisingly a great number of our Members from other continents also attended this event. 1,100 professionals arrived in Miami from 40 countries worldwide. 71 exhibiting companies from 33 countries displayed their products and a program of 13 professional seminars attracted a vast audience. English and in particular the Spanish and Portuguese speaking professionals appreciated the seminars offered in the different languages with simultaneous translation.

Vice President Bill Wappner was invited to present the activities of FIAT-IFTA on the streaming TV Channel for the Funeral Industry of the Latin-American Continent emphasising the International Exchange Program for young funeral professionals. He also announced the festive 50^th FIAT-IFTA Annual Meeting of the Membership on June 7, 2019 in Birmingham – UK and the 16^th FIAT-IFTA International Convention In Yokohama – Japan 22 – 24 June 2020.

The not-to-forget event for the participants was the Latin American Party offered by Miami Funer, animated by the Brazilian dancers and by the Mexican mariachis. However, our main purpose to contact and serve our members has been largely reached.
