Josep Maria Mons is the manager of Cabré Junqueras, the company of Serveis Funeraris created in Mataró for 115 years and which currently manages the Tanatori de la ciutat of Maresme and Vallès Oriental. Mons is the President of the Gremi d'Empresaris de Serveis Funeraris de Catalunya.
