Since 2002, INTERNATIONAL EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE (IEA) is one of the few companies specializing only  in facilitating  and managing the transport and  related costs for the return of mortal remains to their home in the U.S.  First of all, we are specialized experts.  Our staff is comprised of a group of licensed funeral and transport professionals with years of experience in the field of mortal remains transport. We have developed a proprietary network of qualified service and transport providers who  are often called upon to perform the necessary work while we manage and pay for all of the necessary transport and payment details on your behalf.  IEA is always available and maintains a 24 hour call center and membership database. Within and outside the U.S. we facilitate all of the complex arrangements to transport and return deceased U.S. citizens (mortal or cremated remains) who have passed away while traveling away from their U.S home.  Our staff is highly regarded in this complex specialized service.  We are not the  actual transport provider, nor are we an insurance company or funeral service provider.  However, on your behalf we negotiate, facilitate, manage and guarantee payment for the often complex arrangements involved in the transport and return of mortal or cremated remains back to their home in the United States.  IEA is membership based and organized under the name Emergency Management Services and is licensed, bonded and insured.  We offer PEACE OF MIND through our membership and 24-hour international contact and database center.
