Hope for Valencia region in Spain

Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Spain (Valencia region) in this difficult time after the devastating DANA floods.

Heavy rains caused floods that caused the death of at least 211 people, destroyed bridges and covered towns with mud, cutting off communities and leaving them without water, food or electricity. It was one of the worst floods in Europe this century.

Days after the devastating DANA floods shook regions of Valencia and Andalusia, the full scale of the damage, pain and suffering is becoming tremendously apparent. We know that many colleagues across the region have friends or family in the affected areas, and our thoughts are with them.
We are deeply grateful for all volunteers offering their help to local communities.
