Get ready for TANEXPO 2022

The appointment with TANEXPO is just around the corner. The event that brings together the world funeral and cemetery industry will take place in Bologna, Italy, from Wednesday 22nd to Friday 24th June. 250 manufacturing companies, 23,000 square meters of exhibition surface, 18,700 professional visits: these are the numbers of TANEXPO’s latest pre-pandemic edition.

After the 2020-21 event in July last year, which gave the opportunity to get together again, TANEXPO is now back in June for the 2022 appointment which marks a particularly significant anniversary for TANEXPO: 30 years since the Modena 1992 edition, when the leading international exhibition of the funeral industry took its first steps.

This new edition is shaping up to be full of novelties thanks to the participation of a large group of companies and top players that will bring the creations of the best craftsmanship and the latest innovations on show. During the three days, the pavilions will also host training sessions open to all visitors, carried out in collaboration with the Scuola Superiore di Formazione per la Funeraria [Italian scholl of funeral education], offering useful insights for the future of the funeral profession. Once again, TANEXPO will be an opportunity to increase professional preparation, solid support for companies to keep abreast of new models requiring increasingly complex skills to respond to a fast evolving demand.

Furthermore, on the occasion of TANEXPO's 30th anniversary, the halls will host the contemporary art exhibition, curated by Giacinto di Pietrantonio and created in collaboration with R&P Contemporary Art, No Time to Die by Danilo Sciorilli, emerging Italian artist who will offer us the opportunity for future growth and vision, through his works. The exhibition will be set in the large central gallery, hosting as well TANEXPO "social" setting, to share everyone’s participation in Bologna with the hashtag #shareyourtanexpo.

On stage in June, there will be also the TANEXPO Awards, the contest which will recognize standing out products and services. A jury composed of Italian and international experts will judge projects for the the five categories: Innovation, Quality and Design, Communication, Green Sustainability and Best Stand. The winners will be announced during the party that will celebrate the first 30 years of TANEXPO, to thank all those who have believed in the event along this long journey: every producer and every visitor who gave life to TANEXPO, meeting up edition after edition to celebrate a profession that does not only involve the working sphere, but the whole life!
