Founded in 1996 and headquartered in Beijing, Taikang Insurance Group Co., Ltd. has grown into a leading enterprise in the healthcare industry, encompassing three core businesses: insurance, asset management, and healthcare services.
The group’s subsidiaries include Taikang Life, Taikang Pension, Taikang Online, Taikang Asset Management, Taikang Home, Taikang Medical, and Taikang Bybo Dental, among others. Taikang’s business scope covers a wide range of areas, including life insurance, internet property insurance, asset management, corporate pensions, occupational pensions, healthcare and eldercare, health management, and commercial real estate.
Taikang Insurance Group has been listed on the Fortune Global 500 for seven consecutive years, with a total tax contribution exceeding 88 billion RMB. In 2023, it ranked 431st. As of the end of December 2023, Taikang Insurance Group’s assets under management exceeded 3.4 trillion RMB, with over 70 million core individual policyholders and over 490,000 corporate clients served. Taikang Life Care
Taikang Life Care is a crucial component of Taikang's healthcare ecosystem, completing the full lifecycle business loop of Taikang Insurance Group's “From Cradle To Heaven” service chain. It offers a range of services for the final stage of life and posthumous arrangements. Taikang Life Care is structured around three key business segments: pre-need contracts, palliative care and grief therapy, and rural revitalisation with memorial parks. This marks the beginning of a new era in life care services, with a decade of experience in investment, development, and operational management in the life care industry.
Memorial Parks are established in five locations: Beijing, Guangdong, Hubei, Zhejiang, and Yunnan.
Grief therapy services are offered in ten locations: Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Changsha, Suzhou, Chengdu, Xiamen, and Kunming.
Hospice care is available in nine locations: Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Changsha, Suzhou, Chengdu, and Xiamen.
